15 Rainy Day Potion Activities for Kids (Easy Indoor Magic & Sensory Play)
Rainy day....kids are bored...and somehow the couch cushions have already become a fort.
If you're looking for something a little more magical than another movie afternoon, potion play is one of my favorite ways to turn rainy days into creative adventures.
Potion activities combine sensory play, experimenting, imagination, colour mixing, storytelling, and just enough mess to feel exciting.
Some ideas below use simple things you probably already have at home- and if you want less prep and more play, I've included some ready-made magical kit ideas too.
Grab a tray, gather your ingredients, and let the magic begin.
